A free open-air symphony concert for all the family!
The town of Blanc-Mesnil is putting classical music in the spotlight, in the heart of the town's green spaces and tree-lined squares.
Pour sa 1ère édition, la Ville du Blanc-Mesnil est fière d’accueillir pour son grand concert d’ouverture Hervé Niquet, Isabelle Druet, Yohan Chetail, Shirley & Dino, l’orchestre Nationale d’Ile de France et le Chœur du Concert Spirituel.
It's an evening for all the family, with a pyrotechnic finale to prolong the summer. On the programme, Hervé Niquet will conduct the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France and the Concert Spirituel choir, alongside Corinne and Gilles Benizio (aka Shirley & Dino), who will be bringing the evening to life with a festive, fun-filled atmosphere. Also featuring Isabelle Druet (mezzo-soprano) and Yohan Chetail (Ondif principal trumpet).
The programme includes excerpts from Bizet's opera Carmen, Gounod's Tribut de Zamora and Verdi's Nabucco, as well as excerpts from West Side Story, Hymne à l'amour and Shostakovich's Waltz No. 2.
